I'm still unsure as to what my blog will actually be about, so I suppose it'll mainly focus on my interests, I may also try my hand at writing some video game reviews, since I think I may like to do that eventually. The thing is, though, I need to find something to do differently with mine in order for my reviews to.get noticed and maybe bring in some moolah, or even lead to.other jobs or...wait for it....a career!? Idk. We'll see what happens. However, I did just beat Mass Effect 3 the other day. It was simply AMAZING. I don't see why everyone was complaining about the ending. I never saw Shepard die, and even if he/she did in some endings we KNEW it was the end of Shepard's story anyhow. I never really had any real boring moments in the game either and I was completely sucked in the whole time that I was playing. I absolutely love open games like Mass Effect, especially.because it is so replayable! Replayability is hard to when it comes.to RPGs especially back-to-back. Which, surprisingly, I wouldn't mind going ahead ans doing a.second playthrough soon! I want to.start back at 2 and.freaking.romance Garrus, though. He's one hard guy to.romance! Who.would have thought- really!? And I'll be doing a renegade run this.time..I almost want to make a male shep just so I.can romance tali...choices choices! Well...I'm exhausted so I'm cutting this short and going to.bed. tah tah! (Sorry for the misplaced periods all.over. my phone likes to throw them all over and they're a pain to take out on it)

A Start in the Right Direction...?
Apparently blogging is a thing now and I DO need to refine my writing skills. Especially since, hopefully, writing will by my career one day. I can only hope that that day actually gets here. It feels like I've been drudging toward it for my entire life and that day isn't getting any closer. If everything goes right though, I'll at least have my degree by this time next year. Dear god, I hope so. I can't stand working retail for much longer! After this post, I'm hoping to fill this blog with my (hopefully not so) shitty short stories, ideas for stories, or maybe some poetry if I'm feeling brave. Keeping up with this will be an issue with work and Isaac, but maybe just ,maybe I'll manage to at least scribble down one post a week. Especially with there being an app for my phone. I can see nap time becoming my best friend when it comes to blogging. If I have to decide between blogging or exercising, hopefully I'll make the write choice and go with the latter. Hah! We'll see when the time comes. I do have some good story ideas, though, that I'm hoping to work on some before I have to go back to school in August.
The first one, is my former main story. I did write a screenplay for it, but for some reason I am having issues getting an actual novella or novel-type version going. At one point I had 60 pages written for a class, which turned out to be about 34, but what happened to those pages; I don't know. So now, I'm down to about 17 pages and for some reason I can't motivate myself to work on this story now, even though I have the basic storyline all written out via screenplay. Granted, the novel/novella version will vary greatly from its screenplay counterpart.
The other ideas aren't nearly as worked out as this one and I will post as much of summaries as I can when I have them at least a little more formed. They are only in the beginning stages and I have no idea how I intend for them to play out. Besides, this post is way too long as it is. Oops!

Summary of idea one: A young woman, Adele, who is a P.I. in Seattle, unknowingly suffers from split personality disorder. Her other personality, Eleda, generally comes out at night and when she does, she murders bad people (usually). Down the road, Eleda becomes emotionally unstable by the reappearance of her abusive father (who killed her mother and physically scarred her face as a child) and starts getting sloppy with her work. This sloppiness causes Adele to become a suspect of many of the murders she has worked over the years with her friend in the police department, Adrian. At first Adrian doesn't want to believe this could be true and tries to convince himself otherwise. Eventually though, the evidence becomes overwhelming and he must arrest Adele. Before he can, though, she (as Eleda) has one final run in with her father that ends in his death and her hospitalization. Shortly after gaining consciousness, Hugin (her co-P.I) tells her that she's being charged with all of these murders, they have a long talk where she realizes she has known so many things about many of the murders on a "whim" when she actually knows because she was there. She has a panic attack and the nurse kicks Hugin out. A day later she is released and as she tries to leave the hospital the police bombard the place and she has to run for it. She manages to lock herself in an elevator (she pulls the fire alarm) after grabbing some surgery equipment (scalpels etc). She is still mentally unstable from the realization of what she's done. Hugin (he's in love with her) desperately tries to convince Adrian that she's mentally unstable and needs help. As they try to locate her, she contemplates what she has done to her many victims and can't cope with the fact that she is a "monster". Before they can get to her she cuts herself up with the scalpel, but when they get close to finding her and begin to open the elevator she slices her own jugular and bleeds out too much before they can get to her.
